ABANDONWARE. The developer's site is no longer available. The software hadn't been updated since 2019 in any case. There is no chance of it being updated for M1 or M2 ARM. Instead, I use DaisyDisk or GrandPerspective. Less functional but useful utilities are OmniDiskSweeper and WhatSize. You'll see other options on the right side of this page.

Been a happy Inventory X user for 15 years - incredibly useful at spotting those space hogging files that you'd completely forgotten about! I don't get the negative reviews at all - anyone who knows how to use this properly likely finds it indispensable at some point or other... thanks derlien (the developers)

I think it's immensely frustrating. I read all of the reviews saying how handy it is, and I can't make it do one darn thing. How does one get help around this place or find out how to use this thing?
